What we load
Most units travel in a 20 ft or 40 ft container, often consolidated with other machinery or implements to keep the per-unit cost down. Larger combines may move RoRo when a suitable vessel is scheduled. Steam cleaning and quarantine inspection are arranged when the destination requires them.
Documents on departure
Bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, export certificate and inspection certificate are couriered the day the vessel leaves, with scanned copies emailed the same afternoon. Your customs agent needs these to clear the cargo — keep them together.
